All Rabbits/Poultry must be pre-registered. Registration must be completed by May 10, 2025. Available on the website at homepage…hocomofair.com
- The exhibitor must be SMQA Certified.
- All exhibitors must be members in good standing of a 4-H/FFA. All small animal entries must be submitted by registration deadline. No entries will be accepted after this date. Exhibitor help is expected in setting up the barn. Set-up is Thursday, June 19, 2025
- Exhibitors must care for their animals. All exhibitors must feed and water their stock the entire duration of the fair. Exhibitors are responsible to keep bedding clean and sanitary at all times.
- All exhibited animals must be free of any visible signs of infection, contagious disease, or parasites. Exhibitors may be asked to remove any project animal not in good health. Dismissal will be at the discretion of the superintendent and/or judge.
- All exhibited animals must be under the daily care and supervision of the project member from April 30, 2025, to show day. Poultry meat pen birds should be <13 weeks of age.
- No companion animals allowed.
- The greatest care will be taken of all animals, but the management will not be responsible for any accident, mistake, loss, or damage, regardless of cause.
- Rabbit show will follow guidelines as set up by Missouri State Fair and the ARBA.
- Each exhibitor will be limited to two entries per class. Different breeds are considered separate entries.
- Poultry exhibits will be judged in accordance with the American Poultry Association Standard of Perfection.
- Rabbits will be judged on the ARBA Standards of Perfection.

*Must bring one dozen eggs of the same size color and consistency. Only Grand Champion Eggs will sell at the live auction.
Livestock Sale Regulations for Small Animals
- Must meet class requirements to sell.
- Champion Small Animals will stay from Thursday till the end of premium sale. There will be a place designated for them and pens available. Livestock Committee and Fair Board are not responsible for accidents or deaths.
- Only Grand Champion Eggs will sell at the sale. They count as one of the two items each individual can sell. Exhibitor must be enrolled in egg class.
- Only market animals will sell.
- White ribbon animals are not eligible to sell.
