The Fayette Power Pull is now under new management. The Fairground Development Association of Howard County (FDA) has taken over the popular event that the Fayette Optimist Club has presented for decades.The next event will be held on Saturday, June 20. The FDA will bring “the best show on dirt” with the Pro Pulling League Western Series.

The pull will start at 5 p.m. with the pedal tractor pull. The main pulling action starts at 6:30 p.m. The pit gate will open at 2 p.m., and the general gate will open at 3 p.m. General admission is $25 for adults aged 16 and older and $10 for kids aged seven to 15, with kids six and under admitted free.

Proceeds from the Power Pull will benefit scholarships for the three Howard County high schools and improvements to the Howard County Fairgrounds.

Concessions on the grounds will be provided by the Howard County Cattleman’s Association and Big Hungry Kettle Corn.
